Remote Turn-On

Ok Im new to this whole wiring thing and to this forum. I figured I'd try and I wire my Subs and Amp by myself since installation is Like 80 bucks where I bought them at. Anyways I have a Kicker ZX300.1 Amp and 2 12" Kicker Subs (came as a package). I cant figure out where to put the remote turn on, on my deck. I dnt have the diagram for my deck anymore and I dnt know that much about wiring a 12 volt switch. So can someone help me?

what kind of deck is it. but generally, i would say the turn-on wire would be the blue/white wire.

many decks have the remote power/power antenna wire labled....if not then ditto on what jmanpc said

lol. Yeah mine was blue/white on the eclipse deck

It is blue/white on my Kenwood HU also.

Just find this wire and strip off a little bit of it, then attach the remote wire that you have for your amp. I just wrapped the wire and put some electrical tape on it, but you could go with a more professional approach and use solder or some kind of splicing connector.

Mine was also blue and white on my pioneer deck just do what big dee said cut off a lil bit off that wire and your remote tie em 2gether and either use a connector or just twist em electrical tape em just make sure u want to hide all your wires through out your car
