remote radio controls

Can someone help? I installed factory radio controls in the steering wheel on my 2003 Dodge truck (it didn't come with them) but they don't work! Does the radio have to be programed to work with them? Thanks alot, Chad

Better off posting that question in a Dodge forum, I'd say.

You did connect the wiring and such... right? Stuff doesnt work if you just stick it in there and dont wire anything. If you did wire it, you have to make sure that you ahve it hooked up right. I havn't seen how you hook them up, but its possible.

First of all, the guys at the Dodge forums don't know anything thats why Im here. I thought I would have better luck with "real" audio guys. Anyway, I also did hook the wires up. There was a wire that I had to buy that goes from the switches to the clock spring on the column. Thanks
