Remote Power

my remote wire will not power on my Planet Audio 1500.1. I did have the remote running to the mono amp then the 4 channel but the mono still wouldn't power on but the 4 channel does. I took the remote wire directly to the 4 channel and have power if I go directly to the mono no power?

Make sure the amp is good. Jump a wire to the remote from the power wire and see if it turns on that way. If it does find a 12v with ignition on and run it from there. My guess is that if the 4 channel comes on, the remote is good. Double check your power and ground connections

Use 2 remote wires from 2 diff acc lines, this way your signal isn't split in half. Just my .02

That is stupid.

It takes milliamps of power to turn an amp on, 2 wires is not necessary.

It is necessary if your running 2 amps or more. And since I'm running 2 amps, I know. It's easy to do. Just split it in the middle from the Hu to both amps. I used a butt connector in between the amps.

OP, try out the amp that isn't working 1st with the remote wire. And if still nothing, and you already know the other amp works, then the amp must be faulty/broke somehow.

I had a brake line put on my truck and the shop broke my ground wire somehow??
