Remote line question

Im putting a LOC onto a 2005 chevy silverado. Where is the best and easiest place to tap into for the remote line? I hate doing putting on these things, cause i never know where to go for the remote. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

usually in chevys. pull off the panel below the steering wheel. on the left side by the fuse box. (on the back side of the fuse box) there should be a thick solid white wire you can get too. its switched power. i use that.

also if you wanted to do it from the front of the fuse panel you could buy one fo thos fuse adapter things, dont have a clue what they are called though.

i just said it was switched power.

my bad, you didnt say switched. You said sitched. I thought you meant to say it was "stitched" as in marked power. Honest mistake.
