lets just say i had 2 amps and a crossover, and they all need remote lines plugged into the head unit. can i run 1 wire all the way from the amp to the head unit, then just plug the other 2 remote lines from the amp/crossover into the output for the remote line on the first amp?

Yes, that would work...maybe run a 500mA inline fuse or something just in case.

If you run more than a few things off the remote wire, may be a good idea to invest in a relay //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeah....my personal rule of thumb is that if you are going to connect more than two devices to the REM wire, it's time to upgrade to a relay just to eliminate the possibility of something being damaged.

Usually when you shop for a replacement harness for your model, you will find the pictures may show you in what pins your wires go to.
