Remote Level Bass Control

i dont have experience with that particular model...but its just a bass-boost device. you pick the frequency to boost between 40-150 hz and adjust the level with the other knob. most amps have the same thing except its not adjustable on the fly. many headunits nowadays (i think every pioneer, lol) has some kind of bass adjustment built in.

to sum up...theres no reason to get it. if you're wanting more bass you're better off spending that money on a bigger amp/better subs/different enclosure/etc.

I would venture to say that, that thing cannot add a boost to any frequ, but gives you a control within the maximum signal.

Like you can crank up the bass level on the HU then turn a certain frequ down or up within that range that is already there.

Not really adding any "boost" but contolling the boost that's there.

Useless with the HU at your fingertips.

But I could be wrong, that's just my guess?

i heard this bass knob just eliminates bass and doesnt gain nothing at all...dont know if its true...dont wanna buy it if its not gonna control the bass or add..like you guys said "to control it" ...

Well what they're saying is that it most likely filters the frequencies, and adjusts the output signal depending on what you have it the "boost" set to... the maximum output signal you are going to get from that is exactly what's being fed in... if that makes any sense.

It's not a magic amplifier or anything. I can see it being useful if your amp doesn't come with a remote knob, but that's about it.
