Buying a used car means that i haven't affected the gdp or trade deficit in any way. not to mention there are trade duties on imports etc. the markup that american car dealers get makes more money which empties into the american economy than trade deficits take.

not to mention if i don't buy a foreign car i have to buy a "domestic" car made with parts created by out-sourced labor.

grow up and wise up. your ignorant attitude is what makes you a redneck not your location. but i'm guessing 1989 is the year you were born so you still have plenty of time to learn, tho i'd get cracking because it appears most people have a pretty big head start on you.

almost any RS from any of the major companies now has a manual transmission mode. It requires a specific sequence to confirm the car is in neutral before you leave the vehicle. And if the ignition is turned on for any reason the sequence will have to be done again.

yes putting a remote start on a stick is possible but there are a few safety measures that needs to be taken. there's a company called compustar they make a remote start specifically for manuals. most shops won't do it because of the liability if the person doesn't put the car in nuetral with parking break. and as for the car stalling, that's not true i've seen cars "leap" a good distance because it was left in gear and a person started it. saw one even go through a building.

he is right they do leap and most remote starts will try to restart if it does fail and leap into the wall a few more times. I have seen it and it is funny. If you wire it up to only start if it is in neutral then you are good to go. Or maybe put an actuator on the clutch to operate that and hold it until you get in.

haven't owned one but that company has been around for awhile and they are a good line. IMO Viper, Python, Clifford etc etc are all overhyped. DEI is a good company but how many different names are you gonna make with the same alarm?
