"The N-22V is a passive stereo potentiometer designed to control the signal level feeding an amplifier, equalizer, electronic crossover, etc. The N-22V has a stereo pair of RCA inputs and a stereo pair of RCA outputs. It's important that the inputs and outputs be connected correctly. The outputs must feed and amp and the inputs must go to the source (i.e. deck.) That's it. When the black knob is rotated clockwise, the signal increases up to the maximum output of the source. When the knob is rotated counter-clockwise, the signal decreases all the way to zero volts (system mute). The N-22V can be installed under the dash, in a console, glove box, or hidden away."
It gets connected via the RCA's running to the amplifier.
You'd have a short RCA running from the headunit to the above unit (presumably located in/near your dash), and then a set of RCA's going from the above unit to the amplifier.
oh alright dam....i was hoping for something that i could use where i wouldnt have to go into the dash....cause im going to have to pay for it....no other alternatives...theres no way just to adjust the gains of the amp without getting to the HU
