Im not even gonna read the bullshit past this post. How would that amp be superior to anything i have. That amp isnt superior to the SAX i have, the zxi6410 i sold, the AQ 2200 i sold or the RD 3250 V.1 that im buying, why be jealous. Im not buying over priced mainstream equipment to impress my friends who know little about what im using. Keep assuming your right because your not bothering me.

he has a good point COT rf amps are horrible by any standard ill use a lowest end crunch before i use any mainstream brand the quality is just way better man

IMO, he is thinking that because some vintage and old school amps are good, that they all must be, so he is assuming that because its 10 years old then it must be good.

no offence, but the logic that because an amp is made by a mainstream brand makes it horrible is very sketchy. Like I said this amp is over 10 I don't find it horrible by ANY standard. IMO you don't have a real reason this amp isn't a quality piece of equiptment other than personal preference. So you are telling me JL audio is lower quality than like crunch? Mainstream brands are mainstream for a reason.

that isnt my logic at all my logic is experience as an RF dealer that amp is 1 of the worst they ever made they havent made a good punch series amp since very early 90's nearly 20 yrs ago.

mainstream brands are mainstream because so many people are uninformed and yes i would use a crunch amp over a jl any day of the week. why should i pay for a name? when i can get the same reliability and as good or better build quality for less?
