rem wire voltage for leds

hey guys,

i'm brewin up a pretty cool box rite now, one that even Hertzy42 or w/e mite like...

Anyway, everybody talks about how they've ran leds off of the remote wire leadin to their amp, how many volts are actually supplied there? I would test it myself however the system isn't quite in position rite now.

I know its definitly around 12V, I dont know if its battery level though (possibly regulated in the HU to give exactly +12V).

The remote wire can only handle about 500mA though, enough to turn on a couple of amplifiers. You could easily add a relay to give you plenty of power.

yep run a relay...cause too much might be sucked from the deck
