Relocating Factory Head Unit w/ Bose System

Just wondering if anyone has used the Scosche GM06 to relocate their factory head unit to the rear of the vehicle to retain all the chimes, warning signals and Bose factory system and if so does it work properly or is there another adapter or something that I would need.
