They are one... its the triology. God, Son Holy spirit. God wasnt created, hes always been alive. Hes eternal. Well, that's a very bold stateman my friend. What are the other so called religions then? I think it is very ignorant to atleast not consider other views as even being possible.

Im just saying... IF u dont follow the God inspired bible then u cannot be "saved" U can be a GREAT person and not know of jesus but just be sooo humble and stuff... that u can be saved u know. But yea, "U shall know them by their fruits"

exactly. bible is a collection of stories. people didn't have newspapers and shit like that, or sports so they wrote and talked about why they were here, and that got passed down as religion.

You are saying the Bible has been perfectly reproduced in the original form and is perfectly consistant all the way through?

What does it say on the cross above Jesus? It says different things because the authors wrote in different languages that don't all perfectly translate into english. Can you read hebrew, aramaic, and latin?

I'll agree that we'll just have to disagree.
Look at it this way: Even if religion is a big hoax, is it really hurtful to follow it? (unless its one of those crazy suicidal cults....)

But is that what you place your faith in. A hedging of bets. Let me guess: the next thing you were going to say goes like this:

Believe and be wrong = no harm

Don't believe and be wrong = eternal ****ation

believe and be right = eternal salvation

don't believe and be right = your dead.

That logic alone contradicts what the Christian faith is about. You are supposed to love God and dedicate your life to his p[urposes (more or less), not make a safe bet to save yourself.

Edit: Again, fundamentally we believe the same thing.

Not really...but at the same time, understand a faith-based belief will be placed under scrutiny.

I have heard this argument before:

If you follow and are right, then you will be rewarded. If you don't follow and are wrong then you are punished. If you follow and are wrong then nothing.
