Let me talk about the big bang for a second, the big bang states that all the matter of the universe was condensed in a very tiny spec of matter, probably smaller than a dot on a sheet of paper. This matter started spinning, and it spun so fast that it exploded. In physics, it has been shown that if an object is spinning in a certain direction, and part of that object flies off, then it too will spin in the same direction. We have planets that spin in opposite directions.....maybe the big bang should explain that....
As far as evolution and Christianity you can't put the two together, how would the "soul" of man "evolved". Also, man is created in God's image. Man did not "evolve" , he was "created". Also, if evolution is true, then the earth would be about 4.3 billion years old. Personally, I believe that the world is about 6,000 to 10,000 years old, based on Biblical lineage.

here is something very interesting:

The population of the world today is about 6 billion, in 1985 it was only 5 billion, in about 1800 it was only 1 billion, at the time that Christ walked the earth there were only about 250,000 people in the entire world. If you plot these numbers on a graph, and get the curve for it, your y-value for 0 (which would be a population of 0) is about 4400 years ago, which is the approximate date of the flood...

Actually, its kind of interesting that you mentioned that. I was watching this show the other day and, basically it talked about these people who can actually map that kind of stuff using dna and they did find exactly what you just said--that there should be A LOT more people alive by now. Apparently, a long time ago, there was a ''super-volcano'' that erupted somewhere in East Asia. Basically, this thing was so huge that the cloud of smoke circled much of the globe, killing off, I forget how many people, but it seems like it was some huge number like 1/4 or 1/3 of the people and animals on Earth. The eruption coincided with the mass dip in the population.

...some food for thought.

people do not naturally "adapt" to their environment, if people lived in extremely hot climates, would they not have hair? If they naturally adapted, they would not have hair anymore because they would not need it....
that is just one example, we do adapt to our environments in certain ways but not in an evolutions perspective of what "adapting" is

adapt over time. i mean arent there variations is species of dogs?? long haired dogs originated in the cold climate areas of the earth, and short haired dogs originated in the warmer climates. They have adapted to the environment. We humans have the mental capacity to bundle up when it is cold, and take layers off when its hot.

If a flood had covered the entire globe, there would have been so much water in the air that Noah would have drowned even if he was on the ark.

Also, there would still be plenty of scientifical evidence. There is, however, evidence of a flood that covered a large portion of the Middle East.

there weren't people all over the world when the flood came....however, God said that he would spair Noah and his family, and if God is all-powerful he can do anything....

I don't really see what you are saying...

there was no "super-volcano" a long time ago,
There have been huge eruptions in the past - whether or not they caused massive population declines is something else; but the geologic evidence doesn't lie.

Seattle is built on volcanic ash-flows from the Cascades //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif So is most of the Midwest...

You know how, whenever it rains, and you stand outside, you can kind of ''feel'' the moisture in the air? Imagine that times 10 gajillion. You would drown. There would be too much water vapor in the air and you would drown just from breathing.

Not to mention Yellowstone. For those of you who don't know, Yellowstone is just one big depression in the earth, and has the full capacity to become a super-volcano, and is just waiting to blow. Super-volcano's aren't made up.

Mans murder rate in this country isn't that bad..

Maybe there was a local flood..

Do you guys realize if there was this GIANT flood, the waves would have sunk Noahs boat in days.. Waves can currently reach 100+ feet in deep open seas, just think of a 5 mile depth added to cover even the tallest of Mountains..

A 1200 foot oil tanker is just a cork on the open ocean in a modern day storm.. Think about it..

The salinity of the ocean would have also been lowered to a unihabital level, killing JUST about everying living in the ocean.. Lots of DEAD fish floating around..

that video is actually very interesting

I am taking History 102 (Western Civ.) right now, and through that class, you can actually see how evolution has played a dramatic role in communism, nazism, etc. It is very interesting. All of Kent Hovind's videos are quite interesting, I would recommend watching all of them if you ever get the time. His voice can get a little annoying afterwhile, haha, but he is an incredibly intelligent guy and his videos are very, very interesting. Some thing will really amke you think...
