Relay for 3 amps?

Basically, I am installing 3 amps and I need to run a relay for remote turn on wires. What is a good relay and could someone make me a diagram? Thanks.

What kind of wire do I use to power this?

I use 12AWG primary wire, fused for 20A at the battery or source.

That way you can easily add other accessories such as fans.

The actual remote wires only need a few hundred milli-amps. So a 16awg wire and a 10A fuse would also be sufficient.
