reducing gauge

will that rescrict the flow of energy in any way?

i have a simular situation...

8awg speaker wire going to the XXX15, but to wire the VC's in paraelle to get 1 ohm i have to fit 2 wires in some of the terminals, and 2 8awg wires DO NOT fit in one XXX 15 terminal, if i cut some of the wire off to make 2 8awgs fit or will that restict flow of current??!??!!?!

Nope...the smaller gauge is for maybe a half inch, nothing that's going to reduce current handling capacity //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Is there a reason you are using 8awg wire as speaker wire? You really do not need it.
