Reducers

Reducers are a great way to fit 0 gauge wire in 4 gauge in/outs. They give you a really tight, all around fit for the wire; also in my opinion.....it doesnt reduce your power flow as much as people seem to worry about... its really not like having 4 gauge wire at one point, because the reducer acts as a terminal, not as more wire length.

lol. no.

it is like having 4gauge at 1 point. but that doesn't mean it makes a difference. every gauge of wire has a limit, and if that limit is not reached, you see no negative effects. hence why i can use 0 gauge to a distribution block, and 8" runs out to my amps, and still have 0 voltage drop across the points.

and there is no "acts as a terminal, not as more wire length"....it acts like a smaller connection point and thats it. same shit as if you shaved some wire off the 0g to get it to fit into the 4 gauge terminal.

right now i have 4 gauge terminals with the reducers if it would help i was gonna get terminals that accpet 0 gauge...but im just gonna keep the reducers.
here is wha ti have

nvm, youll be fine. i still dont see what you're going to be doing with teminals that accept 0 gauge, but if you're just talking about trying to run power from a 1/0 run to an amp with 4 gauge inputs, you are fine with what you have now.

ok let me explain....right now i have a battery terminal that only accpets 4 gauge....i bought a reducer to run 0 gauge into my 4 gauge terminal.....i then was wondering if it would make a difference if i went out and bought a terminal that accepts 0 gauge if i would see any difference out of the 0 gauge.....meaning i would get rid of the reducers

will see no difference. just less money in your pocket.
