Redoing My Mustang Interior *pics*

I decided to Re-dye my interior black with silver accents to match the exterior after i paint it. I Started by doing the dash today. Heres a couple before and after pics so far. The trim ring around the vents will be silver, some of the parts on the console will be silver, and i'll have a silver h/u when completed. The first 2 pics are the originals and the last pic is what it looks like so far. Im only doing the black right now because i have to buy some silver dye. I think im going to do the center console next. Enjoy.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I need to do 1 more coat on the dash before its done, too hot outside right now to do it so i have to wait for the sun to start going down.

Vinyl Dye from a company i use to work for repairing Auto interiors and furniture. It can get to be pretty expensive stuff. You can buy a can of vinyl paint at your local autozone, it will look good but after a while it will start to come off. Or if you want to check out the dye heres a link to where i use to work.

Just cleaned it using leather prep(rubbing alcohol) then spray dye on using a preval (like a small spray paint can), rub it out for the first rough coat. Afterwards Do it until it looks good. And yea im doing the whole car along with some small silver accents to make it stand out.

Just got done doing 1 of the door panels. I need to go over the carpet part again though. And i didnt do the door handle cuz im buying billet handles.

Thanks, I think its going to look pretty good when i get done. Just takes a good bit of time to dye it to where it looks good.

Looks good. Ive been thinking about changing the color of my interior as well. Did you use the same stuff for the carpet on the bottom of the door panel or did you actually use the carpet dye listed on the site above? Also how many cans of dye would you say it is going to take you to do the whole interior?
