I like working with suede, and high quality vinyl. I love the "midnight" black suede... looks great!

Make baffle rings, support them.

Stretch grille cloth over and staple to the door panel.

u have to clean it first, and its also a good idea to make anchor holes and glass from the other side.

Nope.

Use the glass up to where it meets the panel. Sand, bondo to build up. Sand. Check for low spots. Sand. Skim coat.

Then I recommend covering in vinyl.
