recs for 6x9's or other in sail panels of a camaro

Wanted some recs on a good sounding pair of 6x9's or other size/component speaker for the sails panels in my camaro. I have a set of sony xplode 6x9(they were free but sound like ****) running of an Alpine mrp-f250. Got a set of infinity 4x6's in the front that sound good. I have plenty of bass through a 10" Alpine type r lots of high but no Midrange/mid bass. Is there a mod I could do to the sails to make them sound better?

without putting a second mortgage on my house, what brand 6.5 component would you recommend with this amp set-up 40x4 rms?
