Hi I'm lost and unsure where to post this thread..
I'm reconing a black motor sa 15 with a std sundown drop in.
I've disassembled more like destructed the sub already,
going to paint the frame( why I seperated to begin with )
I broke the plastic spacer between the motor assembly & frame. Id Rather not buy a sundown spacer.
By changing the thickness of this spacer what happens exactly?
Measured with a mic it's .4000 closest tube sleeves i have laying around are .3750
Assuming wcs it's better to increase
What happens when spacer thickness decreases. Coil crash?
Thickness increases?
Better voice coil venting by using tube sleeves instead of spacers?
Any advice welcomed, thank for the help in advance
