Does anyone know who carries a recone kit for a jl audio w6 10"? They are older w6's. Or at least what size voice coils it has?

wrong tuan...the only one who is gonna have that is JL...they are very particular about their parts and make you send the sub in for recone service

Well, he never asked for oem specifically and he mentioned about the coil size. Of course JL would have it without question and JL doesn't exactly sell recone kits. You always have to send it in for repair. I work as a JL dealer long enough to know this. Either way, I've had the JL subs reconed a ton of times without utilizing JL's direct services.

ive been looking for a while for some recones on 15 w6's

You can't get oem parts, but they are recone-able. The hardest part to get is the coil...you just have to give a coil specialist like Precision a call.

The parts I get are identical to the OEM parts. IIRC the coils are copper wound on kaption formers.
