Recone for memphis 10?

I got these memphis power bass 10" subs. Well they finally let out and the surrounds ripped. So i tore them apart. I didnt figure the lower level subs would have a removable motor, but it does. Anyways i was just wondering if i could recone it with another recone kit? I see the rockford recones kits on ebay for cheap, under 15 shipped a piece. I wouldnt mind trying some first recones on something cheap. Any possibly way they would fit?

The thing im worried about is the memphis had a plastic spacer between the spider and the basket which may be a problem. Also i have no idea how to figure out what recone i could use on it. The coil i think is a 2.5"
