Recommened 12" subs under $400

Ok, Im new to the forum but I know a bit about car audio and have been reading the forum alot lately. I planned on doing 4 10" Kicker CompVR's in a sealed enclosure with about .90 cubes for each and a Hifonics BX1605D and run the subs at 300 watts to each.

After alot of reading around I've come to the conclusion that I could run 2 or 3 good 12's ported and possibly push the amp for the 1600 watts it can put out. The only problem is that I have a single cab truck. And the box I plan for will be about 9 inches on bottom and 3 inches on top going up around 23-28 inches up depends on what sub and how much airspace I use for port. I'm not sure off how much mounting depth that gives me so I would like to stay under 6" of mount depth which I found out is quite hard to find for a 12"

My budget is 430 Shipped with either 2 12's or 3.

I would like to run at least 1100 watts in all to the subs, so it will match up with my old planned setup, but if any way possible to be able to push 1600 watts that would be great.

I wish mounting depth wasnt a problem or I wouldnt be posting right now

I really like the Mach 5 MAW's, and the Fi SSD's... they're both kinda in a league of their own for a budget..

To the OP: I am in the same boat as you man, I have a reg. cab truck and I am probably going one Fi SSD ported.

Seems like the loudest option for ~6inches mounting depth.

Assassin 12" is 6 1/8". I've been very impressed with the SQ and output of the

2 8's I put in the GF's car.

See if you can demo any of the recommended subs?

Thanks to everyone who recommended the Mach 5 for me and thank you for time............but I come to find out with the limited amount of space I have and considering I know hardly ne on porting I wouldnt have enough cubes to actually port 3 12's....So im deciding to go with 4 10" Mach 5's which I know they wont hit the lows like I want them 2 but I cant think of a ne better setup.

I thought maybe 1 12 at about 35hz but only 350 watts to it..........

Or maybe 2 10's at 35hz with only 500 watts to it..........

Or I could do 4 10's with 1000 watts all together........and I think 500 watts rules over a port but Im not sure? Which of those 3 do yall think would give me the lows I want but also have decent SQ

They should hit the lows just fine, cone size does not dictate freq response.
