Recommend me something to run along with 18" xxx

So i always get told WHY the hell am i running a 18" XXX with stock front stage.

mainly, i never have enough extra cash.

second, i have no idea about components/midbass/etc.

can someone give me a run down on what i could use to toss in my front stage (2005 trailblazer ls) to provide me with enough output to be on par with my XXX?

also, im a fan of midbass. a lot of the stuff i see on crutchfield is lacking in the midbass area... any suggestions?

not looking to spend more than 150-200 for a set.

For $200, I'd look at something like a pair of Seas paper cone 7's and Vifa textile dome tweets. Or you could look on DIYMA or http://www.zaphaudio.com for alternates.

Regardless of what you get, you'll need a proper installation, lots of deadening, sealing up all holes in the door, or you could make kickpanels for them.

Bi-amp them actively, leaves lots of upgrade room in the future...

now, to have a professional do the kickpanels/pods, what do they normally charge to do that?

also, would deadening be limited to door panels or more than that?
