Recommend me some subs

I'd say check out the Mach 5 MJ18. I had one and it was very fun to listen to; it handled transients well, had decent low-end output, and doesn't take an overly large box... 4.5cf ported. The price tag is very nice as well. It'd make an excellent HT sub.

xmas? santa isn't coming for a while.

12mm of throw is plenty for the output needed from an HT sub, especially in ported applications.

**** that MJ18 is cheap as balls...doesn't need that big of a ported, either...gonna have to read up on it.

Gonna be fun making an enclosure after ~3 years...

I ran an MJ18 for a while, and it was a wonderful sub as far as output and tonality. Doesn't require a ton of power, either. A 500w plate amp should be plenty. If it didn't get stolen, I would still be running it now.
