Recommend me some subs

Need a sub. Probably have about 5-6 cubes to work with. Would like to do a 15" if one will work in that size box. Throw some subs out there.

I was looking at the Tempest-X...I haven't paid attention to what's what nowadays but back in the day I had an original Tempest and it was very impressive.

I took a quick look at their stuff on SSA's site...going to do some research on em...thanks for the suggestion.

What kind of budget?

Probably around $2-250 on the sub itself...

The Dayton DVC is a solid choice for music/HT and relatively cheap. Works great in 5-6 cubes ported around 22-24hz. It is similar to the old Tempest (not sure about the new ones).

I got 2 tempest-X in my living room 9cf each Sonosubs 100% fill. I like. They get crazy low but like air space.
