Recommend me a sub please

O.K. so I bought a couple Treo TE 12's. They call for 1.6cf each. They are 500RMS.

The box I got that would fit in my trunk is only about .9cf each.

I have a Sundown SAE-1200D

I am thinking it might be better if I sell these and get a single sub so that I can have a box that would be built to spec.

I listen to rap music mostly and some rock. I like LOUD!

What would be a good single sub in the following 3 price ranges:

under $200

$200-$300

$300-$400

Also, can anyone tell me what changes in sound I would see if I was able to get a custom box built to spec for these Treo's?
