recommend me a good 3-way component setup

ok i recently bought a ford ranger and ive been having alot of trouble deciding what i want to do for speakers, i already have the head unit picked out and the substage + substage amp picked out, just need components and an amp to run them. ive been toying around with the idea of a 3-way setup as ive never done one and it seems like a good challenge. so whats a good set of 3 ways components that will take a ton of power and get extremly loud while still retaining the SQ of this build. my budget is 500 bucks or so.

rainbow slc 365.25 or slc 365 kick are a good budget choice.

CDT CL-641 also.

If your looking for loud and clear, you may want to look at th Rainbow CMX 465 extreme.

hey, thanks for the reply. i was actually looking at that set, what kind of power can they take daily? woofersetc has no power ratings for that set.

good clean power is key.

I put 125+ to my wifes slc 265, and they would have taken more easily.

hmm ill probably go with CL-641 - CDT Audio Classic 4"/6.5" 3-Way Component Speakers

whats a good amp to power that? when they say 190 watts rms that mean for the pair or per side?

HU: pioneer 510UB

subs: 2 IDQ12 v3's

sub amp: an MB quart amp that will do 1000watts @ 1 ohm (forgot name of it)

so i dont really need a 3 way setup to keep up with that substage? i didnt think so but i wasnt sure, ill probably just go with my original idea of using the ID XS-65 2 way comp system, would be less fabrication anyway.

2way is fine. In fact using a 3 way system is not typically done for volume rather staging.

The XS65 comps sound awesome, they get super loud and still keep a musical and accurate sound.
