Need something that will fit my student budget. Current ride is a 00 chevy s10
thx
thx
I'm not looking for eccentric tools like built in siri and dragon assistance, just something I can play my flac files. Later down the road i'll invest further into woofers and speakers, but for now I can't even use the fm radio lol, and i'm definitely not using my sennheiser 650s while i drive.thats a decent budget for a single din. anything your looking for in particular? i just ordered the clarion z702 from crutch field for $120 and it comes with everything to install it saved myself $60 in installation parts for my 1990 c1500. i don't think crutch field knows they're offering it so cheap and giving the stuff out for free. but what are you looking of in it?
oh. then forget the flac files then. i just want something i can use to listen to music. will any single din fit into my truck?flac files? there are very few HU that support flac
what truck do you have?oh. then forget the flac files then. i just want something i can use to listen to music. will any single din fit into my truck?
oops you answered me alredy. thx
I would recommend the one I've been using for years alpines cde 141. I only spent 100$ On it and it does everything I need it to do, plug my iPhone in with usb and play music while charging it. I think it's only 2v preamp output, but whatever, just turn gains up a tad more. Anyways, the headunit works for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
For 250 new on eBay. You can get a pioneer deh-prs80 which is pretty much the best single din head unit around under $1000. If your planning on upgrading in the future for speakers and amp. You want the pioneer. Full crossover control 16 band equal and extremely clean sound quality. That or an Alpine but **** alpines IMO.
It would be nice if you guys didnt bump old threads that the member no longer cares for if its been 3 WEEKS and he never responded back.Plus 1 for the DEH-80PRS. Plays flac files and 5 volt preamp. I love mine. I'd say bump the budget up a bit and go for the pioneer
Does bluetooth, aux, 2 USB inputs, cd, and reads up to 32gb SD cards.
