Id make my own box, get a AQ HDC3 18 (300 or so), and an Autotek 1000d (on sale at Walmart.com for 150 or so).

That will give you one hell of a sound, get very low, and sound very nice. For 450 +a few for the box.

The **** is wrong with ya'll? It's the truth. I was forced to live there because of a job once. Hempstead, NY. There is no worse place on earth besides Little Rock, Arkansas. If he has almost a G to spend on SQ, he needs the best that he can get while saving money, yes?

And as far as the Italian quote, when i was in NJ, the only decent shops I could find were run by spicks---and that means radio, mechanic, and tire. So screw you haters, spicks ftw up north.

The sub i decided on is the Dual 2 ohm fi Q 15" with bp option.

And the amp I am going to buy is the Kicker zx 1500

People have run the ZX1500.1 at 1 ohm, but it is technically not a 1 ohm stable amp. Those FI subs are dual 1 or 2 ohm
