rear wheel drive car from early to mid 90's

Evidently having ''your uncle'' retune it, striaght pipes, and intake magically knocks off over 2 seconds in a quarter mile.

I'll stick to my suggestion of a 5.0 stang or a 94-95 z28/***** am. I think you'll top about any other car you can get in the price range with cheap and modifications.

I'll second the Lincoln Mark Series- with a free flowing exhaust and intake, they can throw 310+ horsepower. I had one and loved it, pimp from stock... They have mods available, look for mid 90's 4.6 Mustang Cobra parts- cams intakes the whole works.

Plus nobody expects them to be fast.

I expect the ones around here to be. Can't help but think something is up when they're running around with a high stall and exhaust.

I'm about to get my new toy a 92 240sx hatch 5spd and I'll be dropping a

RB26DETT in her for you who know what this is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Look for an Chevy S-10 with a blown motor. They are easy to find, however one with out cancer might be tougher. Then drop a small block for your choice in there. Probably one that is carburated, wiring for fuel injection gets tricky. Instant ground pounder. They are super light and have enough room for a big block even.

You could do a 300 with a v8 for a whole lot cheaper, and it might even get you to work on a consistant basis //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

And ^^^^^^^^ What about an rx-7? They're pretty decent cars. They're good for small block swaps, too.

But all in all, there's probably a reason why the japanese car manufacturers backed off on all the nuts-o sports cars as of late.

They're all heavy as hell, expensive to maintain, and not very reliable.

The skyline and the NSX are the sole survivors, and they're the 2 most expensive.

If your serious about a thunderbird go with the super coupe (sc) dude they have a supercharged 6 at theyre posi trac. PLenty of power and unlike turbo coupe you dont have to wait for the turbo to spool the power is there right now. Also they came with pimp interior and ground effects.

I hear these cars have bad head gasket problems but I have looked at them considerably nonetheless
