Same chassis as the Thunderbird, but those come with the DOHC 4.6, they're awesome cars.

Guessing for $3500 you didn't get much money in to it.. and I'm pretty sure it would take a LOT of money to get that car up to par with a z28/GT. And, how could you justify spending tons of money on a slow car when you could just buy a fast car stock.

Are you absolutely kidding me right now? Do you have any experiene with my particular vehicle or with the motor? The 4.6 is a very durable and powerful engine. To be up to par with a Z28?GT, the GT's of the same era have the same engine in them bro? Do you realize this? Just simply getting a SCT Tune in my car and a new rear gear and it will own any stock Z28/GT. From the lot my car cost $3500, its been retuned by my Uncle, and straight piped and I ran a ram air style intake. Its still basically stock, I know for a fact that it will beat a stock Mustang GT of the same era.

So it's stock with only straight pipes and an intake? That's not going to knock off 1.7 sec to hang with an LT1 Camaro. Let alone 2.3 to hang with a 05 GT.

I said post your mods, not post what you COULD get. That's like saying "my car is faster than yours because I could go get a turbo on it... I just dont have the money"

94 i think was the last year of the 5.0 in the mustang that wasnt in the fox body thats what i would look for

yea i know they are a hot car for shows but i thought they were illegal until after 15 years for driving.

If your serious about a thunderbird go with the super coupe (sc) dude they have a supercharged 6 at theyre posi trac. PLenty of power and unlike turbo coupe you dont have to wait for the turbo to spool the power is there right now. Also they came with pimp interior and ground effects.
