Rear View Mirror Falls Off

My rear view mirror (From inside the car) keeps falling off of my Grand Cherokee. I have gotten the Mopar Glue kit, but it still falls off. Anyone out there know of a glue that is crazy stong that can hold a rear view mirror up? Thanks

Yeah i have that problem too i just leave it off. After about the 5th time putting it back up it started taking chunks of windshield with it so i just decided to leave the mirror down. Maybe try buying a really light mirror... i know mine weighed like about 1 or 2 lbs cuz it had the light and stuff in it.

I had that same problem. I have a Plymouth voyager with probably used the same glue since they are both made by chrysler. I just used super glue. It was like 3 years since I put it back up and it has never come off. Don't use that mopar glue it is shit and didn't work right.

3M (who would have thought ! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif )makes a remarkably strong rear view mirror adhesive that is available at any parts store.

I have used this product on several mirrors and have never had any problems.

If that doesnt succede, may want to check with a local Auto-body shop. Money says that they can come up with something as well.

Alright....thanks, I'll go to Ace hardware and see if they have that 3M glue. Hopefully it works better then the Mopar shit I paid like 12 bucks for that held my mirror up for 2 days.
