Rockford fosgate comments plz

I would be pretty decent. It would probly get loud if you install right. I bet there are better sub and amp combinations for cheaper that sound better. But if you're an RF guy, you won't be dissapointed

What do you ppl think about the rockford fosgate hx2 subwoofers, and please tell me on 10 how much you would rate this setup: 2 hx2 12's ,sealed box,1000bd amp.
PS: if someone as already heard this setup please leave me some comments.

thanks everyone

goodbye
If they're the Power HX2's, then that's awesome ... hell even add another 1000bd.

I'd be using a ported box though.

If they're the Punch HX2's, then it's still decent ... However, I would still use a ported box with them.

As long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

rockford suggest sealed boxes for these subs,so i consider following their suggestions since they know their subs inside out, just for the record they are punch hx2 and the jobber making me the box is making it to the specs recommended for best bass pounding ,he also guaranteed me to be producing 135 dbs wich i think is pretty much enough for daily use,he recently installed 2 he2 12's with a sealed box in a jetta and the owner of it popped his back window lol costed him 1000$ for it, no joke but this guy is very meticulous in making an extreme air tight box, i cant wait to see how my system will run in my 2001 accord //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ps: if anyone as more comments to give me plz leave them below because others opinions are also important

thanks ppl

u dont need to make a box to the specs, the specs are made for the average joe to be satisfied. make the box bigger than theyr specs and port the sub. tune low for SQ or high for SPL.

oh, i'm sure you can squeeze more than a meager 135dB from dual punch HX2 and 1000w... as everyone says, go ported. Yes, RF knows their subs, but they also don't want mindless people going overborad. Luckily, there are many that have experiences with so many different models and done crazy things without hurting them one bit.

I run RF's, and I believe they are ROCK SOLID... putting them in a ported box IS the way to go..

thx for the replies ppl,

ill ask the guy whos making my box of what he thinks about ported and sealed and then ill go with his own experience hes installed thousands of them so ill trust him, but ill see cuz i really want sq and no distorsion.

ps: i wanna get a 4 channel amp for my speakers, id like to know whats the best way amd least complicated way to install it

thx all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif

Did the guy that installs thousands of them sell you the Fosgates?

well i have 2 rockford 12's they are 200 watts rms 400 watts max i get them in 4 cubes tuned to like 30hz they sound pretty good and get fairly loud, although i only have 80 watts rms running to each one of them

no the guy whos making me the box isnt the guy who sold me the subs hes just making me the box period. So you ppl all say to go with ported instead of sealed, you actually think its gonna pound harder and louder? Would you ppl know how many dbs i can be producing with such system??

thx all
