rear sperakers in 04 impala

my mom has an 04 impala with the premium sound system so it has an amp that powers all the speakers (but i dont think that it is that powerful of one) and while we were at circuit city getting my capacitor installed i was looking at 6 X 9 for her car and the alpine type s sounded the best with the pioneer HU. what speakers do you guys recommend i want something with bass, and that has clarity cause the speakers in there now are just bass speakers so they have jsut little bass and when you sit in the back you cant hear any words of the music so 2 or 3 ways would be good. that cost up to $150. and we are keeping the stock HU and would foam speaker baffles do anything to help either

so would you reccomend the alpine or the pioneers i want the most bass that i can get. with good clarity i know the pionners have a lower freq response and they are 5 way
