rear side window about to fall out of my explorer

the right hand side, rear fixed window on my 98 4 door eddie bauer explorer is about to fall out on me!

when i turn my stereo up, it rattles horribly, and at the top center of the window, it flexes outward about half an inch, with the weather stripping moving a little farther. the left hand side, rear window doesnt really move.

is securing the window just a matter of replacing the weatherstripping glue, or something more?

hm....this is one of the ones that is just glued to a hole? or is it one that is glued to hinges and a latch?

try to use some silicone glue it worked for my windshield

3m window weld. Comes in a caulking style tube, $8

By far the best hold youll get on that window. Take the whole window off, clean up the surfaces and lay down a fat bead and hold it in place with tape overnight/day

dude.... pull the window out, cut down the old glue as much as you can on the window and the car without taking off any paint, put a new bead of glue (window glue available at most auto parts stores, NOT SILICONE) around the window, put in place and hold with duct tape overnight. Its pretty easy as most windows like that have clips that align them properly. It should cure overnight if its above 60 degrees

the window glue is called window weld its anywhere from 16 -20$ also pulling the window out takes a special tool u can buy a wire the or a cold knife thay arnt tio much or some junk yards will take it out for cheap if u do it ur self be very carfull its not as easy as ppl say also cut the old glue off as much as possble and clean with some alcohol bassed product i know cause i just had to do this window shops isnt cheap
