Rear fill.

Should I run the 4"x10"s off of a separate amp? I have two kenwoods laying around... I could also then get more power out of the MTX comp set if I did that, plus give the 4x10's their own little amp....

Ku-sama ~ Really all anyone here can tell you is to put them in and see if you like or dislike what it brings to your particular setup in regards to your preferences.

If you like it keep them in.

If you don't take them back out and then sell the amp you were driving them with or keep it for a backup.

If you're the one who had previously pondered on amping the factory Delco 4x10s then please do not waste the effort to do that but if you've got some aftermarket drivers then by all means go ahead and see what you think of the finished product.

i put a set of infinity reference 6.5 comps in a custom baffle in the rear in my 01 grand am. Im powering my jl xr comps and the infinitys with a alpine 4 channel with prolly around 50 watts a peice on the infinitys and 60 on the xrs and they sound great.
