I have a lincoln town car, and sometimes have rear passengers, but not to often anynmore. Should I ditch my rear fill, and get rid of the mtx 564 amp 70*4, and get a 2 channel amp 100*2 or more, or keep it . To tell you the truth no one really rides in the back.

pg xenon 5.25 up front.

Pos infinity 6*9s in the back

Many people will tell you that rear fill is completly useless and its only for passengers and passengers **** and they can eat shat if they cant hear your music etc but i think different. I think you could ditch the rear fill IF your front speakers are installed very very well because if not you could lose a lot of sound. Especially if you only have 5.25 in the front. Try fading the sound to the front only and see how u like it for a week but I doubt there will be a big difference if you ditch you 4 channel amp to add another 30 watts.

By the way I did the same thing you are planning on doing for my 03 Cavy and I found out that rear fill made it sound alot better.

I may give her a try then. I have alot of amps lying around, but none of them are more powerful then the mtx i have.

Are u going to buy a new amp? Because if you are I would suggest keeping the MTX so just in case u see that you liked 4 speakers you can just return it and put the MTX back in there.
Im keeping the amp. Im just going to see how I like the 2 speakers running up front. I dont get rid of my amps, I just add on to the collection.

I've been running only my front speakers (crossfire x6's) and have basically shut off the backs. Sounds great for me, probably going to remove the speakers all together and put an amp up there.
