Rear Deck Speakers

C0CK,its whats for dinner
Hey guys.... I was just wondering what the speakers in the rear deck are primarily for. Are they factory subwoofers?

Mine are blown and I was wondering if I could just take them out and leave the holes for some ports so my subs can be heard better, or would I lose a lot of the primary sound of my factory system?

They crackle a bit with very low notes.

rear speakers are mainly there so people in the back can hear the music better.

and yes if you dont have many passengers, take those rear speakers out to have some airflow into the cabin for the bass,

I personally kind of like the "surround sound" feeling, so I always have rear fill if possible. I also try to aim the music so it sounds good to everyone in the car. It's completely a matter of personal preference though.
