Rear Deck Removal

I gotta question for you guys.. I got a 98 Civic EX Coupe.. and i just cant seem to figure out how to take the rear deck off to put my new Alpine Type-R 6x9's in..I really dont feel like breakin n e thing so if someone could please just help it would be greatly appreciated..

okay. i have a 99 ex so it should be the same.

first, remove the rear seats completely. bolts and everything till there is bare metal and no back seats.

second, remove the side panels on both sides. there are plastic clips that just pop off. just pull the panels really hard and it will eventually come.

next just pop off the top deck part i think. i am pretty sure there are no screws so you should be fine. but you will need 10mm and 12mm for removing the seats.

i've got a '97. is the '98 that much different? i didn't have to do a dang thing to my rear seats. i just undid the rear dash, like described above, and that was it.
