ok, looked on JL's website at the VC configuration of the 10w6v2 and it is unique I THINK...... what it has is a set of jumpers that allow you to configure the sub to an 8 ohm or 2 ohm load for that individual sub thru the use of jumpers.... so my question is this, can i wire these subs as a series? together to present a 4 ohm load to the amp? i realize that if the sub only had 4 "terminals" to hook wires up to this would be impossible, but is the w6v2 unique in that it can also be wired up,...... basically i wanna use my mono amp which is only 2 ohm stable and REALLY want the dual 10w6v2 setup..... ehre is a link to the specs on the sub, does nayone have any input on this? http://www.jlaudio.com/subwoofers/pdfs/W6v2_MAN.pdf

It's still just a DVC sub. JL just has a different way of connecting the voice coils.

So yeah, just wire both subs in series (so they are both 8ohm), then parallel the subs together for a 4ohm load.

What power does your amp put out at 4ohm?
