Really bad rattling

The rear deck cover of my mustang is rattling really bad with the bass turned up. The rear deck is metal with 2 6x8's currently not hooked up but bolted in there tight so they don't move. In the middle there are two large 12" x 6" (estimated) open rectangles. There is an interior piece that covers all of this, it's secured towards the back under the glass somehow, some kind of ridge or glue but it's in there solid and I can't remove it. Towards the front for the last 1" it steps down to lay flat on rear deck and is only held in with 2 plastic gay ford pins.

The rattling is coming from this cover going up and down being moved A LOT from the air. I put sound deadening on the rear deck where the front makes contact ( it doesn't really contact the deck anywhere else) and tightened the pins the best I could. It still rattles a ton to the point that it ruins the sound.

Any suggestions? Think cutting out the rectangles of the cover and putting speaker cloth over would help?

Easiest way to get rid of the rattling would be to just send your subs and amp to me and let me deal with the rattles in my rig...

small layer of foam inbetween will usually do the trick. or glue that beeotch down with mucho glueo

i tryed so many things to get rid of my rear deck rattling, tryed foam under the cover didnt help. then i tryed bolting 2 layers o3/4 mdf to the underside of the metal part o the deck. that helped a little bit but i still get a ton of rattles when i turn it all the way up. next thing i did was this:

that helped a bunch, i still get rattle when its cold out but in the summer i dont. also it seems louder to my ears this way. was gonna put some of that grill cloth over it but never got around to it the car is a junker neway

Yeah I own a 01 Neon, its like the cheapest made POS in the world. Rattles like a mother. I am putting some 80mil "Rattle Trap" deadener in it next month plus im going to put some triple expanding foam in all the cracks before hand, cant hardly stand to turn my junk up when every thing rattles so bad..
