Realistic Wiring Needs

I am rebuilding my system right now.

I will be running an Audio Pipe 1300 and an MB Quart 4x100

So about 1,400 watts total.

Currently I have a 4 gauge Power Kit installed

I am really low on funds esp with the Holidays coming up and I have to buy a new battery as the one I have is going bad.

I really do not want to have to buy more wire right now.

I am upgrading the big 3 today.

This car my girlfriend drives to work and she will never play it full tilt.

it will get played hard every now and then when I am in the car.

I do have a volt meter that I am installing right now as well which will monitor the voltage at the rear Dist block.

So I am borderline on the wire, correct? By that I mean that it would be good to get bigger wire but mine will most likely be fine.

As long as my voltage stays above 12.5 at the amps I am safe, is that correct?

the apsm 1300 only does 1k. (assuming thats the amp in question)

and your actually a bit under border line for wire. and thats not a good thing. only way i would even think about running it with that wire would be to have the gains all the way down and never turn it all the way up.

I decided to do another run of 4 gauge to the trunk.

I have a dist block that will accept both 4 gauge wires on the input side so I think it will work well.

Thank you for the help.
