so i have a 97 civic ex with the system in my sig ive been waiting on ordering my terminals so i can do the big three but ive been lazy. i let me car sit on saterday for couple hours on to let me power get back up but by the end of the week i can tell it gets down low were my lights start to dim. i only have a 100 fuse on my rf which i should have a 200 but since i havent had the big three i didnt push for it yet. i got 4 gauge from front to back which i should get the 0 gauge in there right?. i have a 130 high output alt instead of the regular 70 alt i know its not a 250 or so but its better than the 70. stock bat in the front spv 70 in the back. i know i gotta do the big three i got the stinger 0 gauge for that but should i do the 0 gauge from front to back or what. charge the batterys on the weekend with charger? anybody know how to bypass the e.l.d to get my voltage more up than the standard 13.5? or should i just say **** it and get a better car?i might sell my rf amp and get a sundown amp or something along thoses lines that can do zero gauge my rf can only do four which i dont get since it does about 1.7 k rms. ive been drinking so hopefully this makes sense

lol....do the big 3 and a 0 gauge run front to back would be preferable...as well as a 0 gauge from front to back....match your front battery with your back one. Run pos from one batt to the other, neg from one to the other. also chassis ground the back battery as well. Fuse within 18 inches of each battery and before the amp if its not internally fused. Run amp pos and neg to back battery directly. Should help ya alot.

ok i made that more complicated then needed. should i have zero gauge after i do the big three from front to back with the amount of power im doing?

Better than having to do it all over again if you upgrade.....but since you ran the 4 already you get to do it again anyway lol. Always best to do it right the first time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

yeah all i had before was a directed 1100d amp so it was fine but i keep upgrading every month or two if that. it will only take ten mins to hook it all up maybe 15 tops

run all 1/0 for one. No real way to bypass the eld. I've got the same year civic and I just running my AC during my bassrace runs and bass boxing runs. It puts enough of a load to put out at idle. Someone else was saying you could bypass it by using an obd1 ecu and adapt the plugs to make it fit. Idk if it works but seemed like it would.
