realay for the remote wire

just wondering I have 2 amps a eq and 3 crossflow fans going in so I think I need a realy for the remote wire do you just use the style the have at autozone for fog lights or what

u should be fine without a relay...if u was doing 4 or more amps then u need 1

Should have a relay for more than 1 amp. In some situations a relay for a single amp

He's turning on more than 2 amps. Get THIS.

85: remote wire from h/u

86: ground

30: 12v

87a: empty

87: outputs to amps/fans/accessories

Also make sure terminals 87 and 30 have a bit larger of a wire. I mean, you don't need 8 Gauge remote wire or anything, but don't use the regular 18/22 that most people do for remote. I'd say 16/14 gauge should be enough for that many things.

How are the fans running? Meaning, are they hard wired to the remote sens wire on the HU? If so, they certainly need a different power souce aka relay.
