RE10 In A 1.6ft^3 Enclosure?

How would a single RE10 perform in an enclosure with 1.6 cubic feet of air space? RE's recommended size is 0.8ft^3, and I'm building a box for two, but if one will perform decently in twice that I can temporarily direct my funds elsewhere...

from what i've heard about box building, the bigger the box, the louder, deeper bass u'll get...smaller boxes yield greater power handling, and "punchier" bass.....the re10 should be louder, deeper than it would in a .8 cube box....

watch your volume or gain your amp down abit so you don't over throw your sub bigger = less air resistance inside the box
