RE XXX Component set M. Deep????

Hi, I'm in the market for a good component set, I like the RE XXX Component set to match my sub, can they be install on the door panel with spacers?

I know that they're like 3.75 deep. have any of you guys done this on similar vehicle?

By the way I have an 06 accord.

RE-xxx comps are good, Re-xxx sub is one best sounding subs i've heard.

So just because they make such a great sub doesnt mean that there speakers will great as well.

The mids are really nice, but the tweeter is ok sounding.

Have you thought about Rainbow,Morel,hertz, Focal,etc......

look around before you buy.

^ very true.. the front stage comps are very important, especially the tweeters..

no the mid is the most important one of the two.

I think it's easier to find a tweeter that that sounds right to your ear in a car verse

mids are a little more difficult to get to sound right in a car door.

Those XXX mids look pretty **** beastly. I wonder how they'd sound compared to the rainbow power line CS mids. The rainbow's are a bit wider it looks like, but the mounting depth is about the same. Looks like the XXX's have more excursion, though they don't look like they're doing it willingly (sound like ***) from the videos i've seen... Interesting.
