Re Warranty Policy Is Bs

Now my question to you Mr. Jacob Fuller Owner of Sundown . What can you do about this issue ?
I can only make suggestions to Chris about your deal as the warranty is from him.

If Chris wants to help you out with your woofers I'm sure we could re-build them at a discount to help out both parties.

Your issue is with the reseller of the refurbished equipment - not Jake or Sundown. My suggestion to you would be *if* you want to pursue things to try and get full or partial compensation for your drivers, contact the company who looked over your equipment. Ask them to write an affidavit stating that things were status quo on the drivers and wiring.

Then take this info to small claims court as you mentioned. Include estimates for reconing services for your dead drivers so you can get the compensation. I *think* you mentioned the drivers were brand new. Have your bill of sale ready to show the magistrate and copies of the Email from RE saying these cannot be covered under any kind of warranty.

my issue with re is completely different issue than with Db-r It just ended up here . The isue with re is that they told me direct on the phonethat if you have warrnty on more than one item from any sell be it more than one out of 2 or 2000 you will not get warranty repair from re .
And really, that's understandable from a business perspective. Manufacturing errors occur which is why they provide a warranty. However the odds of a single customer receiving two drivers which both have manufacturing defects is statistically low (on a competently designed & assembled product) which means for there to be multiple failures it would have to be the result of abuse/misuse/something not covered under standard warranty as it was very unlikely to be a manufacturing defect on both drivers.

No. Sundown is under no obligation to assist this other company with customer service issues. That is the responsibility of the other company.

 
I think everyone is missing my issue here . Im really more upset that they wont admit the possiblity of being at fault . I know that if i go to court even with the company that checked it out saying it was all ok . the warranty from dbr asys that if thier item is damaged they fix it not other items damaged buy thier product . so i would lose either way . my issue now is withhis way of handling it and with dbr as a repersentative for Sundown. i feel they should remedy this issue with db-r not my subs . The subs I feel should be fixed by Db-r

I'm sure your opinion is noted with Sundown by now, *however*, attempts at getting Sundown to intervene with your customer service problem and the other company is not warranted.

Your last sentence is irrelevant here, and how Sundown addresses any internal issues - potential or not - is between Sundown and the other company.

Harsh realities aside, I really feel for you. All I can say is if you purchased the subs new, try to work something out with the reseller. Maybe they could go to bat with RE on your behalf. Companies usually tend to help out the reseller as an act of good faith more than a nobody end customer.

I will continue to buy from sundown it is just the bull shit from Db-R that has me pissed off and regaurless if Jacob does anyhting about it with Db-R It isn't really his problem but felt he should be aware how they handle his customers with his products. I will eventually get more subs and will take the loss but it was and is bull shit the way Db-R handled my ?
