RE SX subs..

You are fine running the subs at 1 ohm. The impedance doesn't affect the sub, just the amp. The SX's I have heard can handle more than the 1000 RMS that is stated after they are broken in. So I would wire it to 1 ohm, and set the gains like normal. Read the tutorials in the amplifier section that talk about setting the gains on your amp. Also, RE recommends a 4 cu ft box (internal volume) tuned to 34hz.

still confused if i run my sub at 1ohm and feeding it with my 2000rms amplifier.. oh i want to hear the full potential ogf my subs... and also for daily driving... im wasted and kind of dissapointed..

Actually, wiring a DVC sub in series versus parallel will give you slightly different t/s parameters. The one parameter that changes the most is BL, or motor strength. Most companies, if they list BL, will list it in relation to series wiring(which no one hardly does, unless the sub has D1 coils) in order to make the BL product look bigger than it'll actually be if the subs were to be wired in parallel. BL is normally cut in half going from series to parallel. It's just a way for the company to try and pull a fast one on you.

I think I'm being nit-picky. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Sound Magus X2000

@1ohm - 1700rms at 14.4v at -1%thd

is it okay to power my subs?? in the sub box indicates that the sub can handle 2000 watts..

or should i change my sub to DD3515 or RE MX??

i want to hear my subs potential and want it to wire in 1ohm using this amp for daily driving...

in other boards they say that i should not wire them at 1ohm and feeding at that amp..

confused... and dissapointed

your fine man, stop worrying
thanks bro.. i dont want to fry my subs.. its too expensive.... USampfreak pm'ed me and tell me that 2000rms amp is not a joke for a 1000rms subs... wrong decision...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
