guys can the RE SX dvc2 ohms can handle 1ohm load from a 1ohm stable ampli?? ir i can burn my subs. coz in DD the lowest impedance is .34ohm. any inputs will greatly help... thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

by the way im powering it by a 2000rms amp

Yes, it's the amp you have to worry about when wiring to lower resistances usually (you just have to find an amp that can handle it and then see if your sub can handle the power your amp will then put out when wired to 1 ohm, etc.).

i have a 15" RE SX subs and i will power it using sound magus 2000rms amp at 1ohm in 14.4 volts.

the re sx is only 1000rms... what can you say about it??

It has nothing to do with the ohm load of the sub. It is the power to the subs you should worry about and if the AMP can handle the resistance that the subs are wired to.

As long as you do not send them too much power you will be fine (playing them distorted) if the amp is 1 ohm stable and the sub is dual 2 you are fine just do not exceed the 1000w rating at 1 ohm.
